Frank was one of my best friends all through Avondale, Sam Houston and Tascosa. His death in 1969 in that horrific train-van collision on Lakeside forever changed my life. I was with Frank only days before that accident partying with the other members of their band. It was an "End of the Innocence" moment for me and many others. Frank was a dear friend and I spent so much of my youth at his house on Parr St. that his Mother practically adopted me as another son. I spent the night more at Frank's on weekends than I did at my own house. I simply want to say to Frank as it says on his gravestone at Llano, "Happiness Runs in a Circular Motion" and while I know we will see each other on that circle again, I have missed you over all these years partner!
