April Lloydell Myers Sessler

After attending Amarillo College, University of Texas, and West Texas State University, I taught elementary school for 4 years, then became a full-time mom to our 3 children for the following 8 years. I've been married to Greg Sessler since 1971 and we are still having a great time together. In 1985, I began a wonderful 31- year career in Student Affairs at Amarillo College, and retired in 2016. We have been spending a lot of time in Colorado with our newest grand baby, and have another on the way in the Dallas area this summer, which will make 5 so far!

Most of my school memories are of fun times at football games and running around with friends in the old '57 Ford Fairlane. Wish I had that car back! And of course, who can forget our favorite homeroom teacher, Coach Kyle? We loved watching him drag kids off the parking lot each morning if he saw them smoking out in their cars!
