I still have a cartoon drawing of my 66 GTO that I paid Vince $10 to do for me when we were seniors and it hangs on my bedroom wall to this day. Vince was one of the best artists I ever knew and having him in an art class was an honor indeed. One of the nicest guys around and one of the most talented individuals that I ever met. Vince was an inspiration to all of us art lovers and his personality and genuine sincerity matched his talent. He was a one-of-a-kind individual and I am so sorry to hear of his passing.
Vince and I were pals throughout our junior high and senior high school days. After graduation, life took us on our separate journeys. Vince and his wife moved to the Dallas area, and I later joined the Air Force. Over 50 years later, I still have two drawings he gifted me - my portrait and another of my favorite rock groups at the time. He was a gifted artist, but more importantly, a treasured friend!
